We aim to provide solutions to global issues through local environmental education & community-led programs. 

The Community Conscious 501(c)(3) organization is founded on the principles of nature and community. Our diverse programs shed light on growing organic sustainable home gardens, composting, and deeply reconnecting to our community and our land. We aim to provide youth, and the communities they inhabit, the resources and education necessary  to build a healthier, more self-reliant lifestyle.

We believe that hope is action,
and action is hope.

We all know there are many things we want to fix about how we collectively live. When everything good seems drowned out by the bad news, it is easy to feel unhelpful and lose hope. When we lose hope, we lose action, and we lose our will to do something about it. Community Consciousness aims to restore hope through local action. Our focus is to empower our community to live connected to nature and to each other, Recognizing we are one in the same.

Our Story

​Our team members connected over a shared passion for regenerative farming. With a deep love of the land, our programs emerged out of our main idea of a co-op -- a group of people dedicated to land care, people care, and fair share. Our team members are the type of people that get excited by the opportunities to help within our capacity – which is taking local action and keeping it small.

 Supporting different farms and people who are on this land journey is our main purpose. We focus our impact on improving soil health and installing our organic garden and compost systems, we also have a variety of positive impact community programs.
